A Journey Back to Our Roots

The Story of Beth and Nathan Corymb

Discover the passion and dedication behind the Turtle Tree Biodynamic Seed Initiative, where sustainable farming meets community spirit.

Our Sustainable Journey

Beth and Nathan Corymb’s story is one of returning to their roots and nurturing the land that has been in Beth’s family for generations. After leaving her childhood home, Beth always dreamed of coming back to transform the family farm into a beacon of organic and biodynamic agriculture. Together with Nathan, they embarked on a journey of learning and commitment to sustainable farming practices. Their path led them through various internships and experiences, including training in biodynamic agriculture in Camphill Villages during the early 1980s. This journey not only solidified their dedication to farming but also inspired them to establish the Turtle Tree Biodynamic Seed Initiative in 1994. Their mission was to provide high-quality, biodynamic seeds to the community while fostering an inclusive environment for people of all abilities. Today, the Corymbs continue to work tirelessly to integrate seed growing into everyday agriculture, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.
